If you're seeing the MicroBlog and GoSocial icons on your desktop it could be for several reasons:
* Style - your virtual desktop settings might say "show all channel icons from start". If you change this to "Show channel icon on first message" then this could solve it
* Historic content - if your personas have "historic content" then there's content to be explored even though you haven't run the MEL yet. You could delete the content but it's usually better to disable the social channel. You can do this in several ways....
Disable social channel - set to inactive on the persona either on a channel basis or hide the persona from social media completely
Bulk disable social channel - export to Excel, modify and import again
