It is possible to create a project in which some audience are in partitions and some are not. This is not advisable but the project will function and try to make intelligent decisions about what to do with the non-partitioned audience. Where it can, Conducttr will attempt to move an audience record into a partition.
Audience members who are in no partition – for projects that do in fact contain one or more partitions – are effectively in their own non-named, unmanaged partition. This means that actions taken by these “unpartitioned” audience members affects only other unpartitioned audience members and no actions taken by this audience will affect audience in client partitions.
