- AI Image Generator
Tool: We've
implemented a new AI-image
generator tool in the media
library, which will allow you
to quickly create images in
different aspect ratios,
styles and lighting. This tool
can also be used directly from
the inject creation, making it
quicker/easier by
pre-selecting the appropriate
style and aspect
ratio.
- Right justification for
Arabic languages: Now
you’ll be able to align your
content to the right for
Arabic languages. You can do
this by selecting a persona
and aligning all its
associated content to the
right, but you can also do it
individually for each content
if you need this
flexibility.
- Organize libraries into
folders: We're
improving the UI for Libraries. Now you can
manage them more easily and
group them into folders to
help you find quicker your
scenarios.
- Arrange and Dropdown
Questions in MEL
Flowchart: Now you’ll
be able to add Arrange and
Dropdown question to your
injects using the
MEL.
- Add KML layers for
your players via the
facilitator dashboard: We are excited to
introduce the first stage
of our KML Layers
Integration, in which
facilitators will be able
to add KML layers to
infoMap and make them
available for all the
players in the session.
The facilitator will able
to add layers, organise
them, and publish them to
players.
- Improvements on
Export MEL: We've
made enhancements to the
MEL export process,
allowing you to
export/import the whole
MEL, individual MEL tabs,
and serials.
- Link to specific social
media profiles: Now
you can use our hyperlink
function to link to a specific
user profile as well as the
main channel.
- Team upload
notification: When
uploading a new team, you’ll
receive a warning notification
explaining that the action
will remove all your current
players and
facilitator.
- Media Assets
-Classification : We’ve updated our media
asset classification in the
media library, have been
updated to align with our
classification for information
standards and to ensure
consistency.

improvements: We’ve
added a bulk editing feature
for persona handles,
simplifying the management of
multiple profiles. We’ve also

common shortcuts like Ctrl \+
B, \+ I, \+ U when creating
your content in the scenario
editor.
- “Settings" area
improvements: We’ve
improved the Settings area in
the scenario editor to make it
more manageable and user
friendly.
- Several bug fixes
October 3rd, 2023
- Web 2.0: We’ve done a
revamp of the website channel
to bring the real web
experience to your exercises.
Now you’ll be able to add
keywords and descriptions to
your webs, promote them and
boost your search rankings.
You’ll also be able to
customize the search icons,
generate spoof URLs, and
personalize the browsing
experience with different tab
configurations. Your players
will be able to use the web
channel just like the regular
web: find websites through
keyword searches, see promoted
webs, enjoy seamless
navigation with back/forth
buttons, open and close tabs
and searches, have
simultaneous web searches, use
the search bar to copy or fin
URLs and so on.
Details
For authors
-Keywords and description: Now you will be able to add a website description and keywords, which will enhance the web search ability for your players.
-Search result ranking and paid promotion: Now you’ll be able to use website result ranking and paid promotions, ensuring that relevant and sponsored content receives appropriate visibility.
-Tabs configuration: You’ll be bale to configure what tabs you want to opened from the start of the exercise, as well as indicating the order of appearance.
-Default web and search icon: Now the default page when a new tab is opened will be the search page. You’ll be able to customize the search icon.
- Hover on URL: This allows you to simulate a phishing email scenario where players can verify the legitimacy of a link by hovering over it to reveal the actual URL. You’ll be able to write a URL and link it to a “fake website”, so players verify it.
For players
-Address bar: Now the web channel has an address bar that allows players to search by custom URLs and descriptions. They are also able to copy and share URLs directly.
-Player to reorder/reorganize tabs: Players can now easily rearrange and organize their website channe by dragging and dropping tabs in the desired order.
-Back/forth button for websites: Now players are able to navigate back and forward within websites.
-“Site can't be reached" page: When players type an invalid URL, a "site can't be reached" page will be displayed.
-Responsive tabs for the website/news channel: Tabs within the web channel are now responsive, adapting to different screen sizes and number of tabs opened.
- Persistent links and short links: Now all website links are persistent and will work across all channels. Whether players copy a link from the website, paste it into the address bar, or when they click to share article, both the URL and generated short link will be persistent.
- InfoMap without countries/cities
names: Now you’ll be able to hide
the name from infoMap, in
case you don’t want to use
real location names in
your
exercise
- Factions: We're improving and
expanding the factions management. You
can now add faction images, enjoy a
larger description area, and benefit
from A3E integration. Now you’ll be
able to change the A3E at the faction
level, so the A3E value will be
automatically inherited by all
personas in that faction. For personas
in A3E factions, authors won’t be able
to change the A3E of individually.
However, authors retain the
flexibility to modify A3E for personas
that belong to factions without an A3E
assigned.
- Exercise setup
improvements: Now, the
exercise setup includes
additional details such as an
exercise image, exercise type,
duration, attachments and
more. This will provide
collaborators and facilitators
with comprehensive information
about the exercise. These
details are perfectly aligned
with the fields in Worlds'
exercises, ensuring you have
all the necessary information
when creating and uploading
scenarios to your
World.
- Serials in production
report: We have made
an upgrade ethe production
report to include the Serial
details above its respective
injects/content.
- Scenario menu: We’ve
improve the scenario menu so
it’s clearer and easier to
use. Also, we’ve highlighted
the exercise setup area, and
added an alert when details
haven’t been
completed.

September 18th, 2023
- Publishing to space fix was
added
August 18th, 2023
- Importing of sharefiles on Mac
June 14th, 2023
- New registration style and
options: We have made a
makeover to the registration
configuration so it’s easier for
authors to choose the best
registration type for the exercise
needs. We have also added a new option
in which you can ask players to choose
the team they belong to before
accessing the exercise. Finally,
we have introduced 2 new registrations
types:
- Passcode registration: Now you have the option for
players to access the exercise by
using an identifier (name, name
and last name, or email) and a
passcode (numeric code) defined by
you. Anyone with the passcode can
access the exercise.
- Single sign-on: Now you
can enable single sign-on with
Google for your exercise. This
option is available as an
additional registration for email,
or it can be used on its own. You
can still whitelist players while
using SSO.
- Password protected
files: Now
you are able to password
protect your sharefiles.
This is
optional.
- Publish scenario improvements
(Scenario editor): We have
improved the user experience for
publishing your scenario to a space.
Now you’ll be able to change the
space, see who’s the current
facilitator of the selected space, and
you’ll be given the option to change
facilitator before and after
uploading. If you’re using Conducttr
Worlds, now you’ll see a different
section to upload an exercise to your
World. You’ll get confirmation of what
is the latest scenario uploaded, and
by whom.
- Worlds management improvements
(Scenario editor): We have
changed the way Worlds is
managed in the scenario
editor. We have created a
new tab for Worlds, where
you’ll be able to add and
manage all you “library
slots”. When a “library
slot” is added, it will
display the name and image
elected in the World
admin, so it's always
consistent. Finally,
you’ll be able to see the
active scenario in each
library
slot.
- Spaces dropdown improvements (Scenario
editor): We’ve
improved the UI of the
spaces dropdown so it’s
easier to find them and
select them. We’ve also
added a new tab for
Worlds.
- Accessibility improvements: We’re doing several accessibility
improvements to be WCAG complaint.
This is a work in
progress.
- Scenario editor: We’ve added
alt text to all images and we´ve
changed the default colours to better
contrast ratio.
- Channels we’ve improved
in the Communicator: Registration and login
screens, general virtual
desktop, Inbox, Microblog,
goSocial, Browser and
InfoMap.

- Stack
generation
with
AI: We
have
integrated
with openAI to
make the stack
generation
faster for
you. When you
create a
stack, now you
can choose to
use the AI
assistant. You
will have to
select a
faction of
personas and a
channel
(Microblog,
GoSocial,
HelpDesk and
Inbox only),
and write a
prompt
describing
what kind of
messages you’d
like to
have in your
stack. You
will get a
preview of how
the messages
will look
like, so you
can refine the
prompt and try
again as many
times as you
like. Once
you’re
satisfied with
the preview,
the AI
generate will
create a
message
(content) per
persona of the
selected
faction. You
can add these
messages to
your stack, or
replace
them.
- Generate messages with
AI: When
you create a new message,
now you can choose to use
the AI assistant. You can
write a prompt and use the
AI button to generate the
content. This option is
available for news
articles, social media
channels, Helpdesk, inbox,
Msngr, Telegraph and
Forum.
- Generate historical
content with
AI: Now
you
can
also
use
the AI
assistant
to
generate
historical
content
for
your
personas.
You
will

- New Helpdesk
channel: We
are launching a new
Helpdesk channel to
simulate a ticketing
support system (Osprey
only). You can send
tickets to players
using injects or Pol,
but also role players
can raise tickets
during a live exercise
making use of the
email channel. You can
indicate which players
will act as agents
with a special
permission called
"Helpdesk agents".
Player agents will
receive tickets
an they'll be able to:
reply, add internal
comments, change
status of ticket, and
assign them to other
players.
- Helpdesk stats
in Pulse: You'll be able to
see the Helpdesk stats
in a new Pulse widget,
which shows all
agents, number of
replies, tickets
solved, response time
and resolution
time.
- Platform
comments in
MicroBlog: Now you'll be able
to indicate when
Microblog messages are
sponsored content,
owned by a Government
or marked as
misinformation. You’ll
be able to mark
messages sent from
injects or Pol, and
customise the banner
colour and text you
want to be displayed.
Also, you can assign a
special permission to
players so they either
mark existing messages
as platform comments,
or create their
own.
- Improved
facilitator
menu: We
have
redesigned the
facilitator
menu so it’s
easier to
navigate and
use. We we
have added the
name of the
exercise you
are running at
the top of the
menu, grouped
some tabs to
make it
cleaner and
improved the
sections
naming.
- Map
channel
improvements: We have made
some improvements
on the Map channel
configuration. Now
you can choose
to display
your map channel
from the start of
the exercise,
without having to
send an inject to
it first. We have
also added the
ability to show or
hide the map
timeline.
- Exercise Setup
page: We have
removed some outdated
URLs form the exercise
setup page and
included Pulse. We
have included your
options for
whitelisted players or
domains. Finally, we
have added information
about the Helpdesk
channel.
- Several small
improvements:
Now you can configure
the log channel for
session or for
team. Now
authors and players
can attach CSV files
to
emails.

New
features
- Team
upload
from
Facilitator
dashboard: Now
facilitators
are able
to upload
a team in
the
Facilitator
Dashboard
via a
file. They
will use
the same
file
format
used in
the
scenario
editor,
allowing
them to
upload
several
players
and teams
in
bulk.
The facilitator will see a preview of the team before committing to upload. They can cancel before uploading if desired. - MEL
prioritisation: We
have made
some
improvements
to
prioritise
the MEL
over the
Flowchart
in the
scenario
editor,
since the
Flowchart
view will
be
discontinued.
We advise
all users
not to
switch
between
MEL and
Flowchart.
- MEL
improvements
and
new
functionality: Automatic
replies to
questions
are now
available
on the
MEL! Also
player
actions
(move to
role and
move to
group) can
be added
using the
MEL.
- Reset
password
for
fake/anonymous
emails: You have a
new option
in the
team
upload to
send the
reset
password
link to
the
facilitator
instead of
the
player.
This is to
facilitate
the use of
fake/anonymous
email
addresses
in the
exercise
(i.e. to
hide
player
identity).
The facilitator has a button next to the respective players, that when clicked, generates a password reset URL. Facilitators can copy the URL and share it with players for them to set up their own password. - Whitelisting
domains: Now,
when you
select
“only
whitelisted”
registrations,
you’ll be
able to
choose
between
whitelisted
players or
whitelisted
domain. If
you choose
domain,
only email
address
from the
domain you
indicate
can
register
and access
the
exercise.
This
improves
security
on the
exercise
without
increasing
the
registration
burden.
Improvements
- InfoMap improvements: We have
made some usability
improvements to InfoMap so
it’s easier for the
facilitator to manage the
activities, and for players to
navigate through messages in
the map.
- Registration and login
loading feedback: We
have implemented an
improvement for the
registration and login screen.
Now you will get some feedback
if the process is taking too
long, and you will be informed
if the problem is related to
the internet connection or if
it’s on Conducttr’s
side.
- Personas filters
improvements: Now you’ll be able to
filter your personas in the
scenario editor by usage: Used
in MEL or Pol, personas that
only have historical content,
and unused personas. Also, now
personas have information
icons that indicate their
usage, their content (inject,
Pol) and
capabilities (role
players, map counters and
organisations).
- Pulse improvements: We have made several
improvements to widgets. Now
you can set you dashboard to
auto-refresh every 15
minutes instead of having to
do it manually.
Bug fixes:
- Notifications on mail
channel are
fixed.
- Small fixes in infoMap
channel and KML
layers.

fixes.
September 8th, 2022
- Bulk edit personas' historical social
content in Scenario
Editor: Now
you will be able to import
and export all the
historic content for
social channels of
personas.
- Bulk Engagement Button in Scenario
Editor: Now
you will be able to
apply influence to all
the historic content
of the personas
selected, instead of
having navigate one by
one.
- InfoMap (was SocialMap)
enhancement: We
have created a new
version of the social
map, which now
includes a column with
all the messages sent
on social media and
websites. The message
preview includes:
sentiment, channel,
persona, and ability
to navigate to the
source of the message.
The map also includes
an activity view,
which categorises
messages based on
matching words. The
icons shown for each
activities
(categories) will
match the list defined
in the Facilitator
Dashboard. The
facilitator can edit
the default list of
activities, add their
own lists, change
icons, add matching
words and so on.
Finally, your players
will be able to draw
areas in the map to
filter the
content.
- Personas
management filter by
tag: In the personas
management
(Facilitator
Dashboard), now you
can filter personas by
tag using AND or OR
logic
operators.
- Alert when
personas don’t have an
account in Scenario
Editor: Now when you
choose to send a
message from a channel
which is not active
for the persona, you
will get an alert and
the channel will be
activated
automatically.
- Personas
Management filters now
work correctly in the
map
view.
- Other minor
bug
fixes.

Security improvements:
What this means for you:
- When you upgrade to V1.22, you will need to reset your password.
- When you upload a new scenario, your players will need to reset their passwords too.
- If you choose to use email registration without 2FA, your players will require to enter a 12 characters password.
- Telegraph: Now you can have a channel
that simulates Telegram messaging app.
You can post content to this channel
via the MEL. Your players can
subscribe to the personas' Telegraph
feed and see news and content. Also,
players can post content when they are
impersonating or role playing. (Please
note the Telegraph channel doesn't
have chat functionality, so players
can not talk with other players via
this channel).
- Relative creation date for personas'
social accounts: Now you can indicate
a social account creation date
relative to the exercise upload time.
For example, you can have a persona's
Twitter account with a creation date 1
hour before you upload the
exercise.

Facilitator redesign
We have made a complete redesign of the
facilitator
dashboard, increasing functionality, and
making it easier to use.
Here’s a list of the main improvements and
changes:
- Menu: The facilitator offers a
new menu which
makes navigation easier and provides
better access to the different
functions.
- Sectioned
view: You can have the screen
divided
in 3 sections, which allows you to
have any two items of the menu in
parallel for
a more detailed view of the
exercise.
- Player view: Now the
facilitator always includes
the player view, in which you can
login as any player.
- Player activity: We have
created a new section
in the “Review” area that shows all
the open texts sent by players. This
replaces the previous Inbox. You can
still export all the open texts in a
csv.
- Reports: New section in menu
that includes all
available reports.
